"Writing for the Next Generation: the Importance of Indigenous Children's Book” is a panel event about writing for youth and children from an Indigenous perspective. Why is it important and why did they choose this avenue of writing? How do they tell the story in a way that keeps kids engaged and parents will appreciate? She has invited Ren Louie, Karen Whetung and Leslie Gentile.

The event will take place at Langham Court Theatre from 7:30-9:30, and will also be live-streamed to increase accessibility and expand the audience.
